Sara Jamison
Sara Jamison

Bio

Sara Jamison is the assistant hunt seat coach for the CCC equestrian team.  She grew up in the Kansas City area and began riding lessons when she was nine years old. After taking western riding lessons for a year, she determined her true passion was jumping and has ridden and shown in hunters, jumpers and equitation ever since.  Sara started showing at age 12 and earned numerous champion and year-end awards from the Northeast Kansas Hunter Association, Kansas City Professional Horseman's Association, and Missouri Horse Show Association.

Sara was a member of the Kansas State University women's varsity equestrian team from 2002-2005.  During that time, she earned a High Point English Rider award, Reserve High Point English Rider award, and won regionals in Intermediate Equitation on the flat to qualify for zone competition.  After graduation, Sara continued to stay involved with horses and taught hunter/jumper lessons in both Arizona and Colorado while continuing to show her own horses.

Sara moved to Colby in 2014 with her husband Justin and their daughter Abigail.
