Trojans High Point Team in Colorado

November opened on a positive note, as the Colby Community College equestrian team was the High Point Team in western shows on Nov. 2 and 3 in Fort Collins, Colo.

Jenna Milford earned High Point Individual honors on Saturday, and teammate Maleia Powell earned enough individual points to roll her from the Rookie B division into Level I and qualify for IHSA Zone 8 Region 5 hosted by CCC next spring.

"The horses were fantastic," said Head Coach Jessica Bugbee, "The kids rode incredibly well. I'm proud of how the team performed!"

Colby's hunt seat squad is back in action on Nov. 16 and 17 in Fountain, Colo., for their final show of the fall semester.
