Sims Named Pitcher of the Week

Trojans right-handed softball pitcher Abby Sims continued her successful start this season and earned week 4 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Pitcher of the Week recognition.
In a five-day stint, Sims picked up two shutout wins over Trinidad State and Pratt, allowing just one hit per outing while racking up 13 strikeouts in 11 innings.
The sophomore from Syracuse, Utah, has a conference-leading ERA of 1.25 and tops the Jayhawk in strikeouts (40) and wins (4).
