Bio

The Trojans hired Jake Moss in June of 2022 after he served 11 years as a coach at Hoxie (Kan.) High School. While on staff, the Indians had a combined record of 202-54 and made four final fours and six state appearances.

Moss served as the Indians' assistant from 2011 to 2014, and the team qualified for state every year while accumulating a 61-11 record. During that time, Hoxie won three NWKL championships in a row and placed second in 2012 and third in 2014.

The following year, Moss took the reins and went on to become the winningest coach in school history with a record of 141-43. He led the program to five league championships and three state appearances, including a fourth-place finish in 2017. His 2021 squad finished third while tying a school record with 24 wins.

A native of Hoxie, Moss was an All-State selection at Hoxie High School. He later earned a dual degree in finance and marketing from Kansas State University.

He and his wife Megan have two daughters, Camille and Madeline.
