Equestrian Team Rides in Wyoming
Milford qualifies for regional competition
For the first time in several years, the Colby Community College equestrian team competed in Cheyenne, Wyo. in a pair of shows hosted by Laramie County Community College on Feb. 3 and 4.
Sophomore Jenna Milford joined Kirsten Miessler, Nellie Kaner, and Lily Cannon as a region qualifier. Milford earned her way in open horsemanship and reining.
The Western team competes in their final regular season show and regionals on February 24 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. The hunt seat squad heads back to Colorado Springs, Colo., on February 16 and 17.
