Fourth Place finish for women at cross country nationals
Kemboi earns All-American

After spending much of the season ranked in the top five, the Colby Community College women's cross country team earned a 4th-place finish at the NJCAA Cross County Championships on Nov. 14 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Sophomore Abigael Kemboi led CCC runners in fourth place at 19:03.2 and posting her second All-American performance. Second-team All-American honors went to freshmen Regan Hodsden (16th) with a time of 19:46.4 and Cierra Nord (25th), who ran a 20:20.7. Freshmen Victorine Kiprop (20:42.3), Tobi Wilber (21:09.7), Claire Jeptanui (21.55.9) and Morgan Clinesmith (22:13.5) were Colby's next finishers.
After the holiday break, the Trojans begin preparing for indoor track and field season.
