Sadie Snay Signs with West Texas A&M
The fourth member of the 2018 Colby Community College volleyball team will continue her education and volleyball career at a university next fall. Sadie Snay, a 6-foot tall setter from Kingman, Ariz., recently signed a Letter of Intent with West Texas A&M University.
"We are extremely excited to add Sadie to the 2019 Lady Buff volleyball roster," said WTAMU head volleyball coach Kendra Potts. "She is a talented setter that is capable of running a high level and quick tempo offense. She has great court sense and also does a great job at vocally running the court. Besides her volleyball playing abilities, she is a great student-athlete and sets a high standard for herself in the classroom."
West Texas A&M is located in Canyon, Texas, and participates in the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference.
"Sadie is an incredible person and truly embodies love, serve, care," said Colby head coach Carey Jones. "We are proud she is moving on to such a successful program."
Snay transfers after one season at CCC where she helped the Trojans to a second place finish in the Jayhawk Conference and an overall record of 27-4.
