Cross country moving up
Women enter top 25 as men move to No. 6
October 5, 2018
The Colby Community College cross country teams are making their marks on the national stage. In the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association polls the men moved up to No. 6 from their previous spot of 13, and the women's team entered the rankings at No. 25.
"It's still pretty early," said head coach Cameron Rieth. "Rankings are fun, but we still have some work to do. Our kids are working their tails off, and I think most of us are in pretty good places moving into our next progression."
Both teams are getting ready for Fort Hays State's Sand Plum Invitational Oct. 13.
