Bio

Julie Archer joined the CCC coaching staff in June 2022 after playing for the Trojans from 2017 to 2019.

Raised in Colwich, Kan., she is a 2017 graduate of Andale High School, where she competed on the varsity volleyball team for three years and the varsity track team for two years.

After high school, she made the drive out to western Kansas to play volleyball for Coach Carey Jones. She made an impact right away as a right-side hitter and was named to the Jayhawk Conference first team. During her sophomore season, Archer was selected as the conference player of the week twice on the way to becoming an all-conference second-team member. The 2019 Trojans squad won a program-high 27 games and finished the season ranked 15th. Archer's line at Colby includes 725 kills, 52 aces, 463 digs, and 107 blocks.

After earning her degree from CCC, she transferred to Division II Augusta University in Augusta, Ga. During her three years of eligibility, she helped the Lady Jaguars earn three conference championships and advance to the Elite Eight Championship in Tampa, Fla., her senior year.

In the spring of 2022, Archer interned at Augusta University Health and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration. She was recognized on the Dean's List and Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction.

When she has free time, she likes to take walks, hike, travel around the U.S. and, of course, play volleyball.

Because of her love for volleyball and passion for helping others, she is excited to return to CCC, where her successful collegiate career began.
