Volleyball sweeps KJCCC weekly honors
Bacon, Choloux, and Tribadeau lead Trojans
Colby Community College volleyball swept all three Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week honors in Week 3. Outside hitter Claire Choloux was an offensive force, and Kyndal Bacon was the top setter as they were in week 2. Joining the duo is teammate Elaine Thibadeau, who was the league's defensive player of the week.
Choloux had another great week for the Trojans. She had 68 kills, averaging 3.6 a set. She posted 2.9 digs per set, with 55 digs. In a 3-2 win over Clarendon, she notched her personal best of 25 kills and 18 digs.
Bacon averaged 9.68 assists over five matches during the week. She had 31 kills and 60 digs, averaging 3.1 per set. She notched 52 assists and 18 digs in Colby's 3-2 win over Clarendon.
Thibadeau had 78 digs over five matches for the week. She averaged 4.1 digs per set. Her single-match high was 20 in a five-set victory over Clarendon.
The Trojans are currently 10-1 and 3-0 in the KJCCC.
