After a brief two-game losing streak the Colby Community College Lady Trojans volleyball team got back on track with a win over the Cloud County T-Birds Monday night at the Colby Community Building, 17-25, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15.
Colby had a big night at the net offensively. Seven of nine players registered at least one kill, led by 14 from both Kristina Mamic and Julie Archer. Melanie Loiseau notched a double-double with 12 kills and 36 assists.
Defensively, Nina Gorgijevska had 20 digs, and Brennah Gaston added 10. Brynn Niblock had a game-high three blocks.
The Lady Trojans (19-5, 9-3) now turn their attention to a tournament Thursday and Friday in Council Bluffs, Iowa before returning to conference action Oct. 18 in Hutchinson.
