Lady Trojans upset on the road at Butler
The conference win streak ended at 11 for the Colby Community College Lady Trojans volleyball team as they were upset by Butler County Monday night in El Dorado. CCC won the first set 25-23 but dropped the next three, 18-25, 23-25 and 24-26.

CCC also had a solid contribution from freshman setter Alexandria Atkinson. Starting in place of the injured Melanie Loiseau, Atkinson impressed in her Jayhawk Conference debut with 47 assists.
With the loss the Lady Trojans (22-7 overall, 11-2 in the conference) are in a three-way first place tie with Hutchinson and Seward County, their final two road opponents next week.
The final regular season home game is Saturday against Pratt. Game time is 2 p.m. at the Colby Community Building.
