Bio

Megan Woodward began as the assistant women's basketball coach in 2023. She played for the Trojans in 2017-18.

"I loved my experience here," she said. "It was an easy decision to take this opportunity to coach at my alma mater. I am so excited to come back to Colby and work with Coach Spence."

Woodward is a native of Sachse, Texas, and returned home after her year in Colby to play for Arlington Baptist University. At ABU, she was awarded the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) National Student-Athlete of the Week, Southwest All-Region Honorable Mention, and Association of Christian College Athletics (ACCA) Women's Basketball Honorable Mention All-American. She was also on ACCA and NCCAA championship teams.

Following her career at Arlington Baptist, she completed a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at the University of North Texas.
