Bio

Abbigale is the daughter of Trevor and Misty Steeke. She grew up in Rhame, N.D., on a diversified family operation of livestock, crop and hay ground. Her family runs a commercial cow-calf operation with a strong influence of Simmental genetics. In addition, they have a wether dam and commercial sheep flock. Growing up Abbi was involved in 4-H and FFA. She has exhibited cattle, sheep, hogs and goats on a competitive level in the county, state and national livestock shows. Abbi developed a passion for goats while in high school and started her own herd of wether type boer does with the goal of showing and selling show wethers. She came to Colby Community College to major in animal science and be a member of the livestock judging team. Abbi believes that being on the judging team will allow her to meet more people in the livestock industry and gain a better knowledge of animal evaluation.
