Bio

The daughter of Jayson and Jen Schoenfeld, Jaycie grew up in Oakley, Kan., on a diversified livestock operation that produces wheat, corn, milo and has a commercial cow herd. Jaysie has been heavily involved in 4-H and FFA on the local, state and national level with goats, sheep and cattle. Raising livestock has become a passion of Jaysie’s, and along with her family started raising and selling show goats in 2014. Since that time they have raised and shown champions across Kansas and Nebraska, with the most notable banner coming at Aksarben in 2016. In addition, Jaysie became actively involved in the American Junior Aberdeen Association and is currently the Junior Board President. She is majoring in elementary education at Colby Community College and plans to stay involved in the livestock and show industries through livestock judging and raising show goats. She believes that the judging team will allow her to travel and make connections throughout the livestock industry that will be beneficial for years to come.
