Hunt seat schedule begins for equestrian team
Kaufmann, Keltz take first
Freshman jumper Blayne Kauffman and sophomore Rachel Keltz were class winners in Parker, Colo., when the Colby Community College equestrian team competed during two days of hunt seat shows hosted by the University of Denver.
"This was our first away show and hunt seat competition of the semester," said Head Coach Shanda Mattix. "Western is certainly our stronger discipline, and we have several things to work on for our upcoming hunt seat show hosted by Colorado College."
The show will be Nov. 9-10 in Colorado Springs.
