Hunt seat riders open in Colorado
Pitcher, Moore place first
In the first hunt seat competition of the season, the Colby Community College equestrian team rode in Longmont, Colo. in a two-day event hosted by Colorado School of Mines and Colorado State University.
"I am extremely happy with the success we had at the first hunt seat show of the season," said assistant coach Sara Jamison. "For many riders, this was the first time ever showing in the hunt seat discipline, so it was great to see them be successful their first time out. I'm excited to watch the progress of this team throughout the year."
The team travels to another hunt seat show Nov. 4-5 in Colorado Springs.
